I'm Sheila, owner of Jamerican Creations. The name comes from my Jamaican mother and my American father—a blend of two cultures that taught me to see things from different perspectives. That skill? It's what makes me a better designer.

Born and raised in Detroit, I fell in love with art at a young age, spending weekends in drawing and painting classes. After working at a non-profit for several years, I pursued my graphic design degree at Wayne State University and founded Jamerican Creations in 2010.

Since then, I've partnered with local non-profits and small businesses to create brand identities, print materials, and digital designs that connect with their audiences. I believe good design solves problems—and I bring curiosity, collaboration, and creativity to every project.
